The Apple iPhone 5 has been a very popular device in the US and you can get it with most of the carriers. However there are some people who have said that T-Mobile would never have the handset, even when Apple released the iPhone 6. However T-Mobile is to get the device, however it will not be on contract as the carrier is stopping subsidised handsets. Sprint did give in to Apples demands and now they have to wait until 2015 before they will see profits.
T-Mobile has had to rely on the Samsung Galaxy S3 and some people have asked why T-Mobile has never given in to Apple as they do have great plans which offer superb cover. However is the Apple iPhone 5 really needed at T-Mobile? If you have an unlocked device you can of course take it to T-Mobile on a pre-paid plan.
T-Mobile is to get hold of the Apple iPhone 5 and it will now be making its way to them in 3 to 4 months instead of 6 to 9 months. T-Mobile is to offer the device without subsidies and so you do have to pay out the full asking price of $650 as opposed to $200 with a two year contract.
The news that the Apple iPhone 5 is coming is great news; however it is bad news that the handset will cost you a lot more.
