The Samsung Galaxy S6 Receives More Love Than Note 5

The Samsung Galaxy S6 does seem to get more love than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. We say this due to the fact that it looks like it will be updated faster. Samsung launched the beta version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for the S6 which shows how they love the handset.

It was some weeks back when the Samsung Galaxy S6 got the Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta invite and this was for owners who took part in the program in the UK. The update brought with it lots of visual improvements along with Doze and Google Now on Tap.

When you first look at it is does seem that Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is just a minor update, after all this was a beta version. However it does bring with it plenty of upgrades. Some of which can be found below.

1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).

Of course this isn’t the whole list, just a few, but what do you think about the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the Samsung Galaxy S6?
