The Random Stalling Of The Lincoln MKS Has Been Addressed Finally

By  |

If you were looking for a luxury sedan dating back from 2013 to 2015 then the Lincoln MKS would be a great choice. However the vehicle does have an issue and this is that it can stall randomly.

This has been an issue that has been annoying and it has come from the production facility. Ford have now investigated and they have found that the issues have been down to the fuel pump control modules, which were said to be faulty after being put into the Lincoln MKS.

Ford said that they are recalling 91,000 units and these will have their fuel pump modules replaced. It also looks as though the recall isn’t just affecting the MKS. It also includes the Ford Flex, Ford Taurus and the Lincoln MKT SUV. All of these vehicles have suffered from random stalling.

The 91,000 units are around the globe and every owner affected has now been notified. The only positive thing about the recalls is that no accidents or injuries have been reported due to the stalling issues with the vehicles.
