We are still waiting for Aston Martin to deliver on some of their promises and now it looks like we have another one to look forward to as CEO Andy Palmer hinted that a Tesla Roadster rival might be in their future.

When Auto Express asked Andy Palmer if it was possible that Aston Martin might offer some smaller and faster than the Vantage in the future, Palmer replied that it is possible and added that there are a lot of challenges in making on but also pointed out that Aston Martin is good at solving issues about weight, aerodynamic drag, and rolling resistance and he thinks that allows them to have a slight advantage over automakers like Tesla.

He also talked about why plug-in hybrids are not part of their plans as they would rather spend more time and money on pure electric vehicles. What do you think?
