While Tesla did try to make the Model X as safe as they can with all the new safety tech and features they have, their customers are still in danger of getting hurt, from the inside.
Tesla has just issued a recall to recall 11000 units of the Tesla Model X after it was reported that the backside has the tendency to not lock itself into place. The models that were affected were all built from the 28th of October 2016 until the 16th of August 2017.
According to Tesla, the cause of the issue might be from the unintentional tightening of some cables in the seat that are now preventing the seats from locking into place. They also added that only 3% of the vehicle might be affected but they want to recall all just to make sure.
So accidents caused by the issue has been reported so far.
