Tesla Model S Autopilot Accident: We May Know The Reason Why

By  |

Over the last couple of months we have heard about the Tesla Model S crashing and the accident was put down to the Autopilot. However it’s easier to blame a crash on the semi-autonomous system instead of the driver, but Tesla did warn that the self-driving system should be used with caution.

When it comes down to it any accident should be blamed on the driver of the vehicle as they are the one responsible and Tesla said that they should keep their hands on the wheel at all times, including when the Autopilot is activated.

We have seen a video clip online of the Autopilot and why crashes happen. The clip clearly shows that the driver is asleep behind the wheel of his car and letting the autopilot drive it.

The driver in this clip is being irresponsible and while this isn’t the driver who did crash the car, it shows how accidents with the Autopilot can happen but which are not the fault of the system but the driver.
