It looks like things are definitely moving forward for Tesla and their EV models but despite everything that they are doing to push out as many Tesla Model 3 as they can, the Tesla Model 3 production is not where Tesla wants it to be right now.
Tesla initial goal was to build about 100 units of the Tesla Model 3 in August followed by 1500 units in September but that is far from where Tesla is right now. According to the latest report, Tesla has only managed to build 260 units of the Model 3 so far.
Tesla explains that the slow production rate was because of production bottleneck but they did not explain what is causing the bottleneck.
Although Tesla is has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to their Tesla Model 3, things can’t get any better for the Model S and Model X as Tesla reported a 17.7% increase in deliveries when compared to the Q2 of 2017.
