There have been a lot of reports of deaths concerning Takata airbags in vehicles and you would have thought that people would have been rushing to get them replaced. However it seems that this hasn’t been the case.

Honda Malaysia has said that there has been another rupture of an airbag from Takata and it claimed the life of a driver of the Honda City. It seems that the owner of the vehicle was told about the recall but according to records no repairs were done on the vehicle.

We are not saying that this is the fault of the driver of the Honda City. Many people have said that they are aware of the issue and received notice but they have been left waiting for the part to be replaced and the wait is long. Honda have told people not to drive the vehicle until the airbag issue is fixed, however some people have found that they cannot do this.

As to whom the fault of the death of the driver of the Honda City lies with remains to be seen. One thing for sure is that the rupturing airbag issue is still with us and causing mayhem to drivers.
