Surface Mini Finally Seeing The Light

By  |

Fans of the Microsoft Surface product were disappointed when Microsoft announced that the Surface Mini was not going to make it. The device was supposed to arrive with the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 but Microsoft decided that the Surface Mini was not worth the effort.

Even though we will most likely never see the device, it is still nice to see what Microsoft was working on before it all went down the drain. The images came from Windows Central who reveals that the Surface Mini was supposed to come in with an 8inch display screen with 1440 x 1080 display.

It will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor with 1GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device will also support microSD card and micro USB port for charging. Essentially, it was going to be the shrink down version of the Pro 3.

Do you think Microsoft made the right move when they decided to kill it off before it even got a chance?
