Subaru WRX Not King Of The Roads Anymore

By  |

When it first came out, the Subaru WRX wowed many showgoers and enthusiasts alike; for being able to look so kick-ass to how awesome it is on the race tracks. Overtime, it’s deemed to be not as capable as it was before, so that’s why the Ford Focus RS is coming into picture. And it might just mean that the RS could take the spot of Subaru’s WRX if the latter continues to fall behind.

If you’re wondering what engine the Subaru WRX is using, it’s a 2-litre which comes with 6 speed manual gearbox transmission that delivers 268 horsepower. Though the Focus RS would not be arriving until much later on, we’re expected to see its engine that will outmuscle that of the Subaru’s since the former’s going to be more powerful and should offer more horsepower.

The engine offered in the Ford Focus RS will have been given a boost and we expect that it should take the vehicle from 0 to 62mph in only 4.7 seconds and the top speed should come in at about 165mph. Ford have given the vehicle the Drift Mode and this should mean that it will offer up an improved driving experience. So, there’s that to look forward to.

What about you, are you a tad bit disappointed in having to believe that your favourite sportscar has finally gone down the drain?
