Subaru Has Enough To Rival 2017 Honda Ridgeline

We recently saw a rendering for a truck from Subaru that would easily be able to rival the 2017 Honda Ridgeline, but would Subaru really consider making it?

Theophilus Chin came up with a render when he took the Subaru VIZIV-7 concept, shown off at the LA Auto Show recently and cut off the roof of the vehicle just behind the C pillars and then made the back end into a truck bed.

As the VIZIV-7 is tall and comes with angular looks, we believe that a pickup truck version would be a bit taller and narrower than the completion on the market, however that perhaps wouldn’t be such a bad thing. There would be lots of room in vehicle and despite the loss of some of the rear end of the vehicle, the embedded roof racks could still be kept in place.

We think that the Subaru truck would have what it needs to take on the 2017 Honda Ridgeline but we are doubtful that Subaru would actually see things this way and put it into production.

But what do you think of the Subaru truck based off the VIZIV-7?
