The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 should be coming to the US in November. Recently Sprint brought the phablet along to a press event which was held in NY and press managed to get their hands on it.
Sprint restrains on branding Samsung Galaxy Note 2 like Verizon did
It looks like Sprint’s version will not have changed much from the ones that Samsung showed the world, when the device was launched. This means that there isn’t the word “Sprint” emblazoned on the handset. However this could of course change, but we hope it doesn’t. The Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2 which we got a glimpse of earlier this week however went a little crazy with the branding as it had the Verizon logo stamped on the rear as well as the home button up front. So we’re praising Sprint for showing some form of restraint.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 looked as great as ever in Marble white, which is apparently the only colour that Sprint showed off. The device can work on LTE,. There weren’t any noticeable hiccups with the software and the device felt good to use and it was fast reports Engadget who got some hands on time with it. Sprint is loading some of their own apps onto the device, in much the same way as they did with the Samsung Galaxy S3. These include Polaris Office 4 and Sprint Zone.
When Sprint was asked about the device becoming part of their line-up they said it would happen at some point during the holiday season.
