Sprint is lucky enough to have two of the best smartphones under its wings – the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the iPhone 5. However while this is true, more customers are flocking to AT&T and Verizon for these two devices solely because of better LTE coverage.
Sprint iPhone 5 & Samsung Galaxy S3 benefit from growing LTE coverage map
Today there is some good news for owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3, iPhone 5 or for that matter any other LTE device on Sprint. The carrier has announced that they have activated 11 new locations on their 4G LTE network, which are in the middle and eastern parts of the US.
You will be able to browse the web much quicker on your 4G device if you live in Anderson, Ind, Clarke County, Va./Jefferson County, W.Va, Harrisburg/Carlisle/Hershey, Pa or Hagerstown, Md./Martinsburg, W.Va. Also in Harrisonburg, Va, Muncie, Ind, Peabody, Mass, Salina, Kan, Shenandoah County, Va, South Bend/Mishawaka, Ind and Winchester, Va.
In total this means that Sprint have 43 4G LTE markets. During recent months Sprint has said that they will be expanding into more than 100 regions and some of the places that they have announced today were included. Customers of Sprint will of course be happy to see more places being crossed off the waiting list.
