The Sony Xperia Z5 is at last going to be made available in the US, despite the fact that the handset is late by some months. It does happen to be one of the most popular Android devices on the market though, but are you still interested in it?
The Sony Xperia Z5s arrival on US soil would benefit users of Android devices, however this would apply only if the handset came to the market with the same specs. We have heard that there is going to be one thing that sets apart the device in the US to the rest of the world and that is a fingerprint sensor.
Sony has said however that the US version of the Sony Xperia Z5 will not include the fingerprint sensor, so where did the rumour come from?
It seems that at some stage the Sony Xperia Z5 heading to the US was going to include the fingerprint sensor but there was a business decision to remove it.
So why the change of heart about the fingerprint sensor on the US version of the Sony Xperia Z5? Did Sony not order enough fingerprint sensor parts so they decided to leave it off?
