Fallout is a game that goes hand in hand with mods and people thought that Fallout 4 wouldn’t be any different. However it may come to an end very soon as Sony tried to mess up the games potential on the PS4 as they said that they wouldn’t allow user mods. It was thought that perhaps this could see people moving away from the console to the Xbox One or PC.
Bethesda let it be known that Sony didn’t want gamers to use mods on Fallout 4 on the PC. But thankfully it does seem that there has been a compromise of some kind. Now Sony said that PS4 mods are going to be available for Skyrim Special Edition and then they may be available on Fallout 4. But this doesn’t come without a catch.
The catch is that unlike gamers playing Fallout 4 on the Xbox One and PC, players of the PS4 will not be able to load into the game. This means that people will have to make things from what they have and it also means that they cannot customize such as Batsuits.
Some gamers have used mods for creating them and some of these are listed below and they should work.
The Cheat Terminal allows you to get into computers to activate different cheats, such as changes to the weather and infinite ammunition.
Everyone’s Best Fried allows you to take Dogmeat along with a companion out with you when you go on your adventures.
Unlimited Building allows you to change variables to high numbers.
Unlimited Crafting Container allows you to store everything that you could possibly want close to Vault 111.
Apply Legendary Effects To Guns means you can make your own Legendary gear and make sure that it is useful.
So it does seem that Sony hasn’t managed to sabotage Fallout 4 on the PS4 altogether.
