Fallout 4 is a game that has always been associated with mods and gamers haven’t been able to get enough of them in the past. This is now coming to an end with the game on the PS4 as Sony isn’t allowing user mods and this is going to ruin the gamers experience and may see them turning to the PC and Xbox One to play it.
Bethesda revealed that Sony wasn’t going to allow user mods, however it seems that the two have now come to a compromise. PS4 mods are going to be on Skyrim Special Edition when it is released on 28 October and it has been said that they will appear in Fallout 4 later. But there does happen to be a big catch.
Unlike for gamers playing on the Xbox One and PC, PS4 gamers will not be able to use new things that players load into the game. It needs to assembled from what is already there and so you cannot have custom Batsuits, e.t.c. There are many people who use mods for creating them and below you can find some of the examples that with fingers crossed should work.
The Cheat Terminal allows you to get into computers to activate different cheats, such as changes to the weather and infinite ammunition.
Everyone’s Best Fried allows you to take Dogmeat along with a companion out with you when you go on your adventures.
Unlimited Building allows you to change variables to high numbers.
Unlimited Crafting Container allows you to store everything that you could possibly want close to Vault 111.
Apply Legendary Effects To Guns means you can make your own Legendary gear and make sure that it is useful.
So all isn’t going to be totally lost with Fallout 4 on the PS4, even though Sony have tried to ruin the experience of the gamer.
