We’ve been keeping a close eye on the hassles with getting Skyrim Dawnguard onto the PS3. It’s been nothing but a series of disappointments for fans – many of whom have spent hundreds of geek-hours on the PS3 – as only a very few lucky ones have been able to test all the DLC on an Xbox 360.
Skyrim Dawnguard chatter lessens, PS3 DLC incoming?
Pete Hines has been Tweeting regularly up until a couple of weeks ago about PS3 Skyrim Dawnguard, but it’s all quiet on the dawn front just lately reports Product-reviews.
Hines is remaining silent about Dawnguard Heathfire and any future PS3 DLCs all of a sudden. This could mean anything, but a lot of people think that this is a sign of an impending Skyrim PS3 release. After all, clues have been spotted in the recent 1.8 patch.
It will be very interesting to see how Skyrim Dawnguard will actually come out on the PS3 though – will it carry a regular kind of price tag? Will it be given away as a freebie to compensate for the delays? Fans will still be waiting to find out – hopefully in the next few weeks.
It’s also possible that Hines is keeping schtum about the PS3 probs because he’s gotten over them and is hoping that the Skyrim fans will do so too. This is unlikely, however, and Bethesda will have some answering to do eventually. PR still thinks that Skyrim Dawnguard will be making its way to the PS3 and this silence means there could be an official announcement coming.
