With Bethesda finally confirming that Dragonborn, Dawnguard and Heathfire DLCs are finally coming to the PS3 version of Skyrim, the next big qestion is will the game developer offer anything by way of compensation for the long wait PS3 fans have had to endure?
Skyrim PS3 DLC: should Dawnguard & Hearthfire hit the bargain bit on release?
While the Dragonborn DLC which is expected to release next month isn’t exactly all that late for PS3 Skyrim fans, the same cannot be said about Dawnguard and Hearthfire. At the moment there isn’t a definite release date for the latter two DLC packs.
Forums are now buzzing with comments about how the Dawnguard and Hearthfire DLC might be released with a price reduction. This would make up for the long wait that owners of the PS3 have had.
Owners of the PS3 are more than ready for the DLC; of course the game is worth the wait, whether or not it comes with a reduction. Just ask the owners of the Xbox 360, who have already spent countless hours with all the 3 DLCs. Because Bethesda said they haven’t decided who much the DLC will cost PS3 owners, is the reason why there are speculations of two of the pack hitting the bargain bin right away.
Whatever may happen with the price tag, we’re happy to see that Bethesda has been putting minds to rest about Dawnguard. They said that they released Dragonborn first only because it is the easiest of the DLCs to get out to the PS3. This might mean that problems surrounding Dawnguard are bigger than what was originally thought but there is a solution in the works now.
