There have been owners of the PS3 who have left Skyrim behind as they have been waiting for the launch of new DLCs for too long. Bethesda has said that Dragonborn for the PS3 will be coming next month but not when Dawnguard or Hearthfire DLC will.
PS3 Skyrim DLC: Dawnguard, Dragonborn & Hearthfire price cuts should be considered
The DLC would be welcomed with open arms and it really is worth playing, just ask the owners of Xbox 360, many of whom have spent around 400 hours on it. Now that we know it will finally be coming to the PS3 as well, it could come with a price tag that has been reduced, as Bethesda recently said that they were “undecided” on the price.
They also told fans about the development of Dawnguard for the PS3 and they said that Dragonborn will be released first for the PS3 as it is the easiest for them to release first.
Of course this could mean that the problems surrounding Dawnguard are bigger than owners of the PS3 thought they were. However Bethesda has made it clear that they will continue working on Dawnguard and Hearthfire for the PS3 console.
At the moment there is no indication of when Dawnguard or Hearthfire might be released on the PS3. However they are coming at some point. We know what the DLC costs on the Xbox 360, so here’s hoping there is a price cut for PS3 users as way of compensation.
