Skyrim PS3 DLC: Dawnguard & Hearthfire Aging As All Eyes On Dragonborn

By  |

It has been one month since the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC was revealed on the Xbox 360 and there was confusion over the DLCs and exclusivity. Of course it is clear now that the Xbox 360 gets all Skyrim DLCs first and up to now this has been Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.

Skyrim PS3: Dawnguard, Heartfire & Dragonborn DLC

Of course owners of the PS3 are waiting to receive the Dragonborn DLC and Bethesda has said this will happen in early 2013. This news was well received as some owners didn’t know if they would get the DLC on not on the PS3. The game is after all one year old and waiting for the expansion has been strange, especially when you take into account that those with the PC and Xbox 360 have had DLCs for many months.

While there hasn’t been a date set for the release, in forums there is talk of it launching after 4th of January. This is due to the fact that typically owners of the Xbox 360 get a full month of exclusive play on the DLCs.

While I can’t wait to buy Dragonborn for my PS3, I wish that Bethesda would give an update on Dawnguard and Hearthfire. While waiting for the official Dragonborn DLC release date is torture enough, we have to remember that Dawnguard and Hearthfire are “older” and hence should have been out ages ago.
