Owners of the Xbox 360 now have three DLC packs for their console, Dawnguard, Dragonborn and Hearthfire, so owners of the PS3 could be feeling left out by Bethesda. After all, gamers should be able to get the same enjoyment from Skyrim regardless of what platform they choose to play on.
Skyrim PS3: Dragonborn in January but what about Dawnguard & Hearthfire?
The good news is that owners of the PS3 have been assured by Bethesda that they will get the Dragonborn DLC sometime in January. Therefore the rumours of there being issues with RAM for the lack of DLCs seem to be just that, a rumour.
This has left owners of the PS3 wondering why the first two DLCs haven’t come out for the PS3. The answer that Bethesda gave was that Dragonborn was the easiest of the three to release on the PS3. They have however said that Hearthfire and Dawnguard will eventually be released.
So when might this happen? It could be just weeks after Dragonborn is released, as it appears Bethesda have worked out what the issues were that stopped the packs from appearing on the PS3. Hearthfire and Dawnguard are add-on packs and not sequels and therefore there is no reason why owners of the PS3 should have to wait for more than a few weeks after Dragonborn is out. Of course this is just our prediction, Bethesda and their marketing/sales department may have other ideas.
