If you’ve already got Skyrim on the PS3 and you’re waiting for Hearthfire and Dawnguard, we have some good news for you. Product-Reviews says that there’s a new expansion known as Dragonborn, and it looks as if the DLC problems have been solved – finally.
Skyrim DLC 3 heats up with PS3 Dawnguard, Hearthfire?
Dragonborn has turned up as an expansion pack on file trademarks like Hearthfire and Dawnguard did. There has also been some sightings of this pack in a system update for PC users. There’s a line of code in the 1.8 update beta that says: ‘$DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT_PS3 DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT’. This might mean that Bethesda has found a way to sort out the PS3 hardware problems and has now put Dawnguard into the system – these problems were the reason behind the Hearthfire delay.
You need to remember that files relating to other platforms sometimes show up in internal PC codes, but it’s interesting to note that there’s been no such code for Dragonborn on the Xbox 360. This is making people wonder if Dragonborn might be just for the PS3.
This may be a form of apology for the Dawnguard debacle, but then this move might annoy Xbox users, as they don’t deserve to be left out. Bethesda is staying mum, but that code’s there for something, eh?
