If you already have Skyrim on PS3 and are waiting for Dawnguard and Hearthfire to come out, there’s some good news. Product-Reviews say that there’s another expansion by the name of Dragonborn, and it looks like the DLC problems have been sorted.
Skyrim DLC 3 fires up with PS3 version of Dawnguard, Hearthfire?
Dragonborn has shown up as an expansion pack on file trademarks, just like Hearthfire and Dawnguard. There’s also been sightings of this new pack in a system update to PC owners.
It’s worth noting that a line of code in the 1.8 update beta says: ‘$DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT_PS3 DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT’. This may mean that Bethesda found a way of sorting the hardware problems on the PS3 and has put Dawnguard in the system. These problems were the reason that Hearthfire was delayed.
Do remember that files that are related to other platforms may show up on internal codes for the PC. What’s interesting, though, is that there has been no code on the Xbox 360 relating to Dragonborn. Lots of people think that Dragonborn might be exclusive to the PS3 in this case. This might be an apology for Dawnguard but if so could upset Xbox 360 owners as they did no wrong.
There’s no word from Bethesda, but that line of code is there for a reason.
