Pete Hines went silent for a long time regarding the issue with Skyrim Dawnguard on the PS3. However now he has resurfaced thanks to users being persistent on Twitter, asking him questions. The questions have of course been in relation to the problems surrounding Skyrim Dawnguard on the PS3.
Hines questioned about PS3 Skyrim Dawnguard holdup
When users posted questions about the issue Pete Hines responded by saying that things had not changed. He then directed those questioning him back to links posted in August. However this still doesn’t answer the question of why he has been keeping quiet of late. Many people have grown frustrated about the lack of communication and lack of depth in feedback. Owners of the PS3 want Skyrim and they can’t even get an answer as to when they are likely to see the release of it, or even find out what the issues surrounding it are.
Some fans said that Pete hated users of the PS3, however he retaliated by saying that he is a PS3 owner. The question is does he get to play Skyrim DLC and Dawnguard?
Product-Review suggests that Hines could be attempting to keep fans calm and this could be a hint that DLC for the PS3 will be coming out at some point in time. However why would he keep the details a secret?
There are some that wonder why Hines and Twitter are the chosen form of communication from Bethesda. However the answer to this could be in another Tweet, as Hines said that today was the start of his 14th year at Bethesda. This could why it has been down to Hines to communicate with fans regarding the lack of Skyrim Dawnguard on the PS3.
