Skyrim Hearthfire & Dawnguard PS3 DLC Right Around The Corner?

With the Xbox 360 now boasting 3 DLCs under its belt – Dawnguard, Hearthfire & Dragonborn – we can guess that many PS3 gamers are feeling a little ticked off at Bethesda. After all, it is only fair that Skyrim fans get the same amount of gameplay and enjoyment regardless of which platform they are on.

Skyrim PS3 DLC: Dawnguard & Hearthfire right behind Dragonborn release (predictions)

The good news though is that Bethesda has since confirmed that the Dragonborn DLC will be hitting the PS3 sometime in January. This suggests that rumors of RAM issues with the PS3 stopping DLCs from coming on the Sony platform were incorrect.

Now the next question is that if Dragonborn is headed to the PS3, why didn’t the other two DLCs come over first given that they are older? Bethesda directly answered that by saying that Dragonborn was the easies of the trio to release, and assured that Hearthfire and Dawnguard are coming soon.

So when would ‘soon’ be? If we had to guess, it would likely be just weeks apart from Dragonborn. Given that Bethesda seems to have worked out whatever issues they were having that were stopping expansions from coming on the PS3, and also the fact that these are add-ons and not sequels, there should be no reason the Hearthfire and Dawnguard DLCs have more than a few week gaps between each other before their releases. At least that’s our prediction.
