Samsung Speeds Up Nougat For Galaxy S7 Edge

With the demise of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is going to get Android Nougat a lot earlier than what had first been expected. Now it is looking like the Android Nougat beta program is being prepared.

It’s been just three months since Android Nougat was revealed and already devices such as the Huawei Mate 9 and LG V20 have received the update. Now Samsung is getting a beta version ready for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in the UK.

Samsung are trying as hard as they can to push the Samsung Galaxy S7 out after the whole fiasco with the Note 7. Android Nougat will bring plenty of functionality to the handset and some of the Note 7s features will also make it onto the device.

Samsung are offering the Galaxy Beta Program app for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and it allows owners to sign up for the upgrades to Nougat. You can get the app from the Galaxy App store or you can get the APK on XDA Developers.

At the moment Samsung hasn’t confirmed anymore details about the program, but we are expecting them to open up more about it.
