We have heard that Samsung hopes to sell around 60 million units of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 when it is launched later on this year.
Samsung have requested that their partners are able to supply the part for the 60 million shipment goal. This is a goal that is higher than the yearly shipment numbers for all of the Galaxy S handsets.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S5 managed 45 million sales and the Samsung Galaxy S7 is thought to be hitting 48 million sales. The phone maker has said that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to be launched in April and this falls in line with what we have been speculated on a daily basis.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to begin mass production one month before it is launched, so this should being in March.
Samsung do want to beat the sales numbers of both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S6 with the Samsung Galaxy S8, but after the performance with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will people still have faith in them to go out and buy a new Samsung device?
