The LG V30 and the Huawei Mate 10 are currently the smartphones that have the largest aperture but that might not be the case anymore when Samsung brings out their new Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus next year.

New reports are suggesting that Samsung might be working to fit a f/1.4 aperture lens in the back of the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. If that is true, the Samsung would beat both LG and Huawei when it comes to aperture size.

It is said that the large aperture lens will only be offered on the larger Plus model. No word on what the standard Samsung Galaxy S9 will be getting. There were also talks about Samsung looking to announce the smartphones earlier to reduce the gap between them and the new iPhone.

In fact, we might even see it as early as January next year as some people suggest that Samsung might be looking at CES for their unveiling.
