Samsung has always prided themselves on being the one that is constantly ahead of their rivals but it was clear that Apple might have gotten the last laugh this year with the new Face ID.

However, Samsung is not ready to give up yet as new reports reveal that the Korean manufacturer might be offering some sort of Face ID tech when they release the Samsung Galaxy S9 next year.

According to ETNews, Samsung is investing heavily on the tech and that they are looking to offer it with their new Samsung Galaxy S9 next year. To make sure the tech is faster and more accurate, Samsung will have to replace some parts from their iris and front-facing camera.

Some people think that even with all the upgrades, Samsung won’t be able to beat Apple unless they are willing to increase the size of their top bezel. We will have to wait until March next year to find out if Samsung can do it.
