Samsung Galaxy S8 Would Depend Less On Google’s Software

By  |

We have been hearing for quite some time now that Samsung may be about to move away from relying on various services of Google. The Samsung Galaxy S8 may be the first device to come from the phone maker to make the move away. One change that has been made is the move from Google Assistant to Samsung’s own AI and this has the name of Bixby.

Recently Samsung trademarked Samsung Hello, this led to even more talk that the company is going to move away from Google apps. They filed the trademark with the European Intellectual Property office and it was said to be a “application software that gives personalized features and information based on user’s preferences in the fields of weather, music, entertainment, games, travel, science, health, contact, and social news via voice command and voice recognition.”

At the moment there hasn’t been confirmation from Samsung so this is all speculation right now. However it is possible that Samsung is going to integrate Samsung Bixby and Hello.

We are going to have to wait to find out when the Samsung Galaxy S8 is launched, but are you hoping that Samsung will make the move away from Google Apps?
