Samsung Galaxy S8: Note 7 Users Ignored From The Start

By  |

When the Note 7 started exploding, Samsung offered their Note 7 buyers the Samsung Galaxy S7 with the promise that they will be able to get the new Samsung Galaxy S8 when the time comes but Samsung did not mention any of that when they announce the new Samsung Galaxy S8.

Those that ended up with the Samsung Galaxy S7 were hoping to learn more about how they can get the new Samsung Galaxy S8 as a compensation for the exploding Note 7 but to their disappointment, Samsung made no mention of that.

To be fair, the offer was only offered in South Korea so Samsung might have decided not to say anything about it since not everybody will be getting the deal and they don’t want to highlight the fact that the other Note 7 around the world won’t be getting as good of a deal as the South Korean users.

We do not when the program will start in South Korea but maybe Samsung will reveal more about it when it gets closer to the release date.

The new Samsung Galaxy S8 has been getting some pretty positive feedback. In case you miss the unveiling, here are some of the details that you might want to know about.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be coming in with a 5.8-inch display screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2960. The device will be running on a Snapdragon 835 processor or Exynos 8895 depending on your region. It will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
