Samsung Galaxy S8: New Plot Twist?

By  |

There is little doubt that we will see the Samsung Galaxy S8 at some point in time but what we don’t know is when it is going to get unveiled and it looks like there could be a new plot twist.

The Samsung chief has revealed that the phone maker isn’t going to reveal the Samsung Galaxy S8 at the MWC this year. The show takes place over 27 February to 2 March 2017. This means that they are not taking advantage of launching it at one of the biggest technology events of the year.

While the announcement was made as to the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S8 isn’t coming our way at the MWC, the chief didn’t say when it would be coming.

Rumours had been going around that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would be coming our way in late March or April and that it may be revealed at an event that will be held in New York. We have heard that we may see the device arrive as the 5 inch and a 6 inch version, which will have the name of the Galaxy S8 Plus.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus could offer up a display that is curved and it may have fingerprint sensors. We may not see a physical home button on the phone. It has also been said that the device may offer 8GB of RAM and stereo speakers.

Of course at the moment the only people who really know what the Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to bring and when it will bring it, is Samsung, and they aren’t letting on.
