The Samsung Galaxy S8 already has the LG G6 on the ropes despite the fact that the devices haven’t made their way out yet. Devices of this year will be running on the Snapdragon 835 processor, but some still offer the Snapdragon 821 and this has been something of a disappointment for some owners. Now we are hearing that the LG G6 may fall into this category and it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S8 could be at fault.
Samsung will be launching the Samsung Galaxy S8 this year and it will offer the Snapdragon 835 processor. Samsung is going to hog all the initial batch of the Qualcomm processor for their device it has been said. Therefore the LG G6 could be left with the Snapdragon 821 processor if LG wants to launch it on time.
A source has said that the LG G6 could arrive with the Snapdragon 821 processor and it would have Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box so it would support Daydream from the start. It may have a high price tag though and this means that some people will be put off and they may wait for the Samsung Galaxy S8 with its better hardware.
Nothing is confirmed of course so for the time being you should take this with a pinch of salt but do you think Samsung will keep the new processor for the Samsung Galaxy S8?
