The Samsung Galaxy S7 is going up against the Note 5 and the results may just surprise you.
When first looking at the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 it may be difficult to recommend the Note 5 over the S7 Edge, but if you look deeper there is more to the device than the stylus.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was the first handset to offer up the curved glass back with the 5.7 inch display. It’s easy to hold and it looks great. The Samsung Galaxy S7 does combine everything that the Note 5 offers and the S6 into a single handset. It comes with the edge display and it’s designed in metal and glass.
One of the things you will have to decide is whether you want the edge display or you want the S Pen. Other than that both the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge offers about the same.
The Samsung Galaxy Note has the Exynos 7420 processor along with 4GB of RAM and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge offers the Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge offers Android 6.0.1, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1.1. Lollipop. The Edge has some benefits as it Doze and runtime app permissions along with many improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 camera offers the Pro Mode on the 16MP camera and it takes great photos with fast autofocus. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge also comes with the Pro Mode but it also has a good Auto mode. It is 12MP and comes with improvements to low light photos and depth of field.
Both of the devices are superb but would you go for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or would you choose the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge?
