The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be unveiled in the next couple of weeks while we may have to wait until Q3 before we see the iPhone 7. However with the recent leaks there is more information coming to light that will give us an idea of what to expect.
We’ve seen the Samsung Galaxy S6 return to a more rounder and thinner design than the Galaxy S5. In fact it has made a number of sacrifices to slim down to the iPhone 6S like proportions including discarding the external memory and removable battery as well as ditching its waterproof abilities.
As for the iPhone 7, it is also expected to continue to remain slim and round, a departure that was made after the iPhone 5S where Apple returned to almost the same design as the first iPhone.
As such, the iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 are expected to share a lot of similarities in terms of design, weight and overall size. Under the hood however there will be differences but given that both are flagship devices we can expect speedy performance, a good camera and exceptional screen. With that said, if looks are also going to be a lot more alike, the decision for most users between and Apple iPhone 7 or Samsung Galaxy S7 might just come down to the operating system which in this instance is rumored to be Android 7.0 Nutella and iOS 10.
