Samsung told owners of their handsets that they would give them Android 7.0 Nougat by 17 January and this has had owners of the Samsung Galaxy S7 holding their breath.
The update to Android Nougat has already started in China and the UK and it is 1.2GB in size and comes with many new features. Some of the features include performance modes, new UX, quick setting button, enhanced notification features and multi-windows.
The Android Nougat update is going to please owners of the Samsung Galaxy S7 when they get it but it does look like owners in the US may have to hold their breath a bit longer, more so for those with carrier models.
Of course you don’t have to wait to be told that you can make the update to Android Nougat for the Samsung Galaxy S7 as you can check yourself. Go into the update section of settings to find out if you can update.
