Samsung Galaxy S7: Goodbye TouchWiz?

By  |

Samsung handsets generally get good reviews, apart from the Galaxy Note 7 of course, but one thing that is generally complained about is TouchWiz. Now Samsung has revealed Grace UX and many people thought that it was going to replace TouchWiz, with the Samsung Galaxy S7, but it seems that this isn’t the case and we will see more of it in the future.

We have seen some screenshots of the Grace UX and from these we can see that many of the elements of the OS and apps have gone through a redesign. The OS has a flatter design and many icons have been redesigned, more so for quick toggles in the notification pane. In fact it looks a bit like Apples.

TouchWiz has been said to be bloated and the design of it has been called ugly and many people were not doubt hoping that Grace UX would take over from it. However it seems that this may not happen.
