You should probably know by now that the Samsung Galaxy S6 has been one of the hottest phones in 2015. It has managed to hold its ground despite tough competition against the likes of the LG G4, Sony Xperia Z series, iPhone 6S, and even its siblings: the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Note Edge.
And exactly how it has managed to win most of its rivals over is through some simple tests. The folks over at GSM Arena have put the Galaxy S6 through a number of tests to see how its battery life is when it comes to common tasks. The good news is that its battery holds up well to all the tests. Results are as shown below.
As we can see 3G talk time is a solid 19:48hrs, web browsing 10:56hrs and video playback is a decent 12:12hrs. With these numbers it comes in the same as the Galaxy S6 Edge but loses to the iPhone 6S. It does however beat its Android comrades the LG G4 and Sony Xperia Z4. So not a bad win after all.
So overall expect the Samsung Galaxy S6 to get you through the day with ease without running out of juice. Has your Galaxy S6 lasted you through several days without charging?
