Microsoft has launched the Microsoft Lumia 950 and it has to compete against devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the iPhone 6S. But which handset should you choose?

Microsoft are hoping that with the Microsoft Lumia 950 they will be able to make their name among other more popular handset makers, including Apple and Samsung.

The display of the Microsoft Lumia 950 is 5.2 inches and the resolution comes in at 2560 x 1440. The display of the Samsung Galaxy S6 is 5.1 inches with the same resolution as the Lumia. The smallest display is on the iPhone 6S and this is 4.7 inches and it offers 1334 x 750 pixels. The winner here is the Microsoft Lumia 950.

There is another win for the Microsoft Lumia 950 with the battery. The iPhone 6S has the same battery as the previous version at 1715mAh.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 offers the USB C-Connector, while the iPhone 6S comes with the Apple Lightning connector and there is the USB port on the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 may be connected up to the Microsoft Display Dock and this gives you the chance to use it in a similar way to what you use a desktop computer.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 comes with 32GB storage and there is also SD card support. The iPhone 6S entry level is 16GB but doesn’t support SD card and the Samsung Galaxy S6 offers 32GB but again it lacks support for SD card.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 camera offers the most megapixels and it is superb for taking low light photos. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a camera of 16MP and the iPhone 6S has a 12MP camera. All of the handsets are offered with a camera of 5MP on the front.

You can get hold of the Microsoft Lumia 950 for $549 and this is $100 less than what you can get the iPhone 6S for. The Samsung Galaxy comes in at $579.99 for the 32GB version. Here the winner has to be the Microsoft Lumia 950.

But which device would you choose? Would it be the Samsung Galaxy S6, the iPhone 6S or the Microsoft Lumia 950?
