Samsung Galaxy S6 Unveils Mystery Of Android 7.0 Nougat
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 arrived on the market and it went off the market as fast as it came. It was supposed to be the first in the Samsung range of handsets to have Android 7.0 Nougat but now this title goes to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. It was supposed to arrive on the handsets by the first quarter of next year but now it has been slated as appearing before the end of this year.
This means that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge could get Android 7.0 Nougat faster than what had been anticipated had the Note 7 met its demise.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge could end up getting Nougat a lot earlier than first thought and of course owners of the 2015 devices are very pleased that the batteries of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 can catch fire. At the moment we don’t know when the update is going to arrive for the older devices but you can be sure that they will have moved up the queue for the update.
The update to Android 7.0 Nougat is important to owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge due to the fact that the devices are known for their problems. Nougat brings with it an advanced version of Doze and this is going to help with the battery life issues on the two handsets.
Another boost is the Grace UX launcher which, during the brief spell the Note 7 was around, was said to be great. The UI is arriving on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge with Nougat and perhaps the same will apply to the S6.
If the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge get a launcher that isn’t cluttered then it could help give the older handsets a boost and reduce the tendency they have to overheat.
