Samsung Galaxy S6 Battery Life May Just Give You A Shock

With each successive handset that they offer Samsung make their devices bigger and they have had to ensure that the battery is made larger too. This hasn’t been an issue in the past.

However with the Samsung Galaxy S6 the device got larger in size but the battery wasn’t treated the same way. This is a device that happens to be in competition with the likes of the Sony Xperia Z, the LG G4 and the iPhone 6S. Of course it also has to compete with its sibling, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

So can the Samsung Galaxy S6 manage to go up against the other handsets for battery size? Recently GSM Arena checked out the battery life of the devices and we got a bit of a shock with the battery life of the S6.

The tests revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S6 battery offered up 20 hours when talking on 3G and for browsing the internet it came in at about 12 hours. This means that the battery life can compete with that of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and the Sony Xperia Z4 and LG G4 but it didn’t quite beat that of the iPhone 6S.

So the tests revealed that the battery of the Samsung Galaxy S6 should last a full day and owners don’t have to be worried about where to find a plug to charge the handset.
