The Samsung Galaxy S6 has been made bigger by Samsung and in the past when Samsung have designed their handsets larger they have also made sure that they have boosted the size of the battery to match the size.
When the Samsung Galaxy S6 arrived on the market the handset came with a display that was bigger but it seems that Samsung had forgotten about the battery. The handset has to contend with the likes of the LG G4, the iPhone 6S and the Sony Xperia Z. Along with this is also has to contend with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
So how does the Samsung Galaxy S6 compare to other handsets when the battery is smaller? GSM Arena recently put the handset through some tests and they found out that it did very well. They put the S6 through tests that included 3G, talk time and video.
The 3G talk time came in at about 20 hours on the handset, browsing the web about 11 hours and playing videos came in at about 12 hours. the Samsung Galaxy S6 is able to contend with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge but it didn’t have what it needs for it to be able to beat the iPhone 6S. It does however compete well with the likes of the Sony Xperia Z4 and the LG G4.
So if you own the Samsung Galaxy S6 you will be happy to hear that you can get a full day from the device and you shouldn’t have to carry the charger around with you.
