Samsung Galaxy S5 Takes Home The Crown

By  |

Samsung has gone a long way since the Samsung Galaxy S5 but despite all the upgrades and interesting new features that Samsung has added to their newer flagship, the newer models just could not take down the Samsung Galaxy S5.

According to Kantar, the market research specialist, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is still the most popular Samsung smartphone in the US. The research also comes out with a few interesting information.

It was added that up to 28% of Samsung’s installed base upgraded to a new smartphone and 52% of that 28% upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S7 while 10% upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S6 model.

The research also reveals that the S7 owners will probably upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S8 or the upcoming Note 8 this year. It looks like despite the issues that Samsung had to face last year, their fans are still interested in their smartphones.
