There is some great news for fans of the Samsung Galaxy range of devices and this is that the Samsung Galaxy S IV is going to be announced on the 15th March. The Unpacked event has not been confirmed by Samsung, but the news was confirmed by a trusted source. Samsung will be making the announcement of the device on 15th March, however where the event will be held remains a secret. It has been said that the handset will be in stores by the second week of April and confirmation has been given that Samsung will offer the device from the start of April. Samsung are expected to send out invites after the MWC in February.
The first devices will be in eastern countries in Europe first, with Europe and Asia expected to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S4 by the end of April. The device will then be released in America, Australia and Africa in May to June.
There will be accessories for the Samsung Galaxy S4 by way of the Clear Cover, Flip Cover, Protective Cover, Pouch, Extra Battery Kit, Wireless Charging Kit, HDTV Adapter and Headset. These are said to be coming out by week 15.
There is another rumour in the shape of the Samsung Galaxy S having the Exynos 5 Octa CPU, the 8 core Mali-T658 GPU, a display of 4.99 inches that is Super AMOLED at HD resolution, 2GB of RAM, a camera of 13 megapixels which can shoot full HD at 1080p and 30 frames per second. The front camera is also said to have a camera of 2 megapxiels that can take video at 720p in HD. It will run Jelly Bean 4.2.1.
