There has been a lot of talk about what Samsung may offer when they launch the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3 this year. There have been many rumours going around and Samsung did tease fans when they showed off the Exynos 5 processor at CES, which may be seen inside the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Samsung Galaxy S3 & Note 3 Exynos 5 rumors
Samsung recently showed images of this processor on Twitter and this could be in both of the handsets coming from Samsung this year.
It is thought that we could see the Samsung Galaxy S4 at Samsung Unpacked, which will be held on 22nd March. If so the device could be on the shelves a month later. This has all but been backed up by claims coming from a source said to be close to the retailer.
The new processor has 8 cores and it was shown off at the CES this year in Las Vegas. Samsung say that it is the most powerful processor that they have used in any mobile to date.
There were rumours that Samsung plan to launch the Tizen OS with hardware at some point this year, however it is not known whether this will be on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or the Samsung Galaxy S4. If Samsung were to do this it would give them more control over what they deliver to end users, along with updates. However it is debatable as to whether they would choose this for their flagship handsets.
