Rumors about the release of the Samsung Galaxy S4 have been going around sometime, now we have confirmation as Samsung have announced the day when they will launch Samsung Galaxy S4 flagship device. Two things happen to be very interesting this year, first of which is at Samsung are giving the US preference this time as their new device will be revealed in New York.
Secondly the device will be coming out on Pi Day, and this is the day that Americans celebrate famous mathematicians.
There is already been plenty of rumours that the Samsung Galaxy S4 may be announced in March at the unpacked event of Samsung. We can now tell you that the device will be launched on May 14th EST.
Samsung held the event in London last year, and with the Samsung Galaxy S4 coming out first in the US this year, this could mean that Sprint, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile may be getting the device at the same time as those in the UK.
This is a great possibility as it has been said that some of the top carriers in North America have asked Samsung to unveil the handset on their soil this year. The Samsung have not giving out any details about the specs nor did they give an exact release date at MWC 2013, however details have been leaked.
One recently said that the Samsung Galaxy S4 would have a full HD SoLux display of 4.99 inches. It was also said that the device would have a 1.9 GHz snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, as much a 64 GB of storage and a camera of 13 megapixel.
This of course is what was expected, except for the display. We now need leaked pictures, perhaps a video and a price, these would keep everyone happy until 14th of March.
