Samsung Galaxy S3 vs LG Nexus 4: LG (Just) Wins

By  |

Can the LG Nexus 4 take the crown away from the Samsung Galaxy S3? This is the big question right now in the Android community as the LG Nexus 4 offers powerful specs at a ridiculously low price. The folks over at Android.gs tried to answer this question and pitted the specs of both devices against each other. Ultimately the LG Nexus 4 was declared the winner. Why?

Samsung Galaxy S3 vs LG Nexus 4 comparison

As the blog explains, both of the devices are superb and happen to be two of the most powerful Android devices on the market. The two handsets offer around the same when it comes to the OS and their camera capturing capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the thinnest of the two devices, supports LTE and comes with SD card support, and packs more internal storage. The device won points for all of these as these are all areas that let the LG Nexus 4 down.

However the LG Nexus 4 beat the Samsung Galaxy S3 in regards to the price tag, the design, processor and the display. The screen is brighter than that of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and it has the better processor, and better design plus build quality. The price tag of $299 cannot be beaten for an unlocked handset so despite the S3 being older and having seen multiple price drops, you’re not going to snag one for less than $500. The LG Nexus 4 took four points, which made it the winner overall in comparison. Check out the full comparison here.
