The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the best-seller of 2012 and it comes packed with more features than you can shake a stick at. Due to this you could have missed some things on the device. 5 more Samsung Galaxy S3 features you may not have noticed yet
The fonts on the Samsung Galaxy S3 have a serious look about them. If you want a lighter hearted look then you can change the font in the menu. There are three fonts pre-installed and you can download more of them from Google Play Store. Head into display submenu and font changing.
Folders on the home screen can be organised to keep the home screen neat and tidy. If you want to make a shortcut all you have to do is hold down your finger on the shortcut and drag it to another app shortcut.
You can customise the lock screen of the device. On the lock screen there are icons which take you to apps and the default ones are SMS hub, S Voice and camera. You can change these in the Lock Screen submenu in your settings.
To get more life from your Samsung Galaxy S3 battery, you can choose a dark background on the handset. There is no universal back light on the device as it is Super AMOLED and when light wallpaper is used it uses more power.
If you want a novel way to secure your handset, you can use Face Unlock. This uses the front camera on the Samsung Galaxy S3 to recognise your face and it then unlocks your handset. This is not a hard core way of securing your handset though as if there is someone that looks like you they could unlock the Samsung Galaxy S3. They may be even able to unlock it with a photo so you are warned.
