The Samsung Galaxy S3 was the must have handset of 2012 and it is not one yet and the successor to it has been announced. While the Samsung Galaxy S3 remains a superb handset, the cost of it has dropped down to make way for the new device. The biggest of the savings can be with carriers who do not offer large subsidies on their devices. This includes carriers in Malaysia and India.
In the world of Android handsets the Samsung Galaxy S3 has been one of the best and even though it is almost a year old it is still popular. This price drop means that the device is a bargain, however there will be a newer model out in just a month or so.
When the Samsung Galaxy S3 was released in India, the handset was on sale for Ra 43,000. It then dropped to Rs 31,900 and last week you could go out and buy it for Rs 29.480. Klipmart offer the device for Rs. 29,200.
In Malaysia the cost of the device was RM 2,300 when it was first revealed and now you can get it for RM 1,500.
Of course there are some people who will think that the price drop is too good to pass up. Even though a newer model is on the way you have to take into account that the price will be high. In the US it is thought that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will have a price tag of around $589.
