Samsung has certainly got a lot of mojo at the moment. Their Galaxy line up keeps expanding as they reach out to target more consumers and price points, and the latest offering is the Samsung Galaxy Premier.
Samsung Galaxy Premier: Cross between Samsung Galaxy S3 & Galaxy Nexus
The Premier comes with a little bit of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. This device was rumoured to have been the successor to the Galaxy Nexus, but according to MobileGeeks this is not the case.
The Galaxy Premier has a 4.65 inch display in HD and is Super AMOLED. It has the same resolution of the Galaxy Nexus. The Samsung Galaxy S3 on the other hand features a display of 4.8 inches in Super AMOLED. Just as with the Nexus, there is the lack of home button.
It comes with a dual core CPU of 1.5GHz, which puts it in line with the US variant of the Samsung Galaxy S3, as internationally the S3 came with quad core.
Just like the S3, the Premier has an 8 megapixel camera, which is an upgrade from the 5 megapixels of the Nexus, and it has a camera on the front. You can get the handset in either 16GB or 32GB and just like the S3, it has SD card support for external storage.
It is thought that the Samsung Galaxy Premier will be launching in Europe and you should see it in Germany towards the end of 2012 for 480 euros. It is thought that it won’t be available in the US due to the fact that it will not work on LTE networks. When launched the handset should run on Jelly Bean and it will have support for NFC, GPS and DLNA. Samsung and Google meanwhile are also getting ready to launch a 10.1 inch Nexus tablet suggests reports.
